Friends for Neighborhood Progress, Inc. is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that financially sponsors and supports the work of the Frederick Community Action Agency. Established in 1968, Friends for Neighborhood Progress, Inc. co-sponsors the Frederick Community Action Agency along with the City of Frederick. Through a wide array of programs and services the Frederick Community Action Agency provides food, shelter, medical care, housing, transportation, and other services to families and individuals that are lower-income or homeless.

In particular, Friends for Neighborhood Progress, Inc. supports the following programs operated by the Frederick Community Action Agency: Soup Kitchen, Foodbank, Transitional Shelter, Housing First Program, Medbank Program, Housing Counseling Program, Weatherization Assistance Program, Housing Rehabilitation Program, Summer Food Service Program, and Primary Health Care Clinic.

Your tax-deductible donation to Friends for Neighborhood Progress, Inc. will support the Frederick Community Action Agency as it works to ameliorate the causes and effects of poverty in Frederick City and Frederick County, Maryland.
